We are seeking highly skilled and motivated professionals to join our team as Staff Pharmacists. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and promoting health and wellness in our communities.
Job Description
The Staff Pharmacist will report to the Pharmacy Manager and will be responsible for providing direct patient care services, including preparing and dispensing medications, conducting patient consultations, and collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in pharmacology, therapeutics, and patient education, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Conduct patient consultations and education on medication use and management
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate records and reports on patient information and medication usage
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
• A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state where the store is located
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) registration
• 1-5 years of experience in retail pharmacy or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
