About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Cirrus apartments in Ashland, MA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our community and maintaining a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the proper and timely completion of all maintenance-related service requests and repairs
  • Implement procedures to prevent maintenance problems and ensure the efficient use of resources
  • Maintain a department budget and find cost-saving measures without compromising quality
  • Hire, train, and discipline maintenance technicians as needed
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in property maintenance or equivalent fieldwork
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to interact professionally with prospects, residents, staff, and management
  • Hands-on experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems, swimming pools, landscaping, and cleaning
  • AHVAC certification and CPO certification preferred
  • Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred
  • Physical requirements include lifting 75 lbs., climbing ladders and stairs, walking between buildings and on roofs, stooping, kneeling, and bending
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
