Clinical Lead

In line with the UNC Health mission to improve health and well-being, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Lead to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This role will provide high-quality care to patients within their scope of practice, collaborating with a supervising physician and reflecting the organization's values.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a state-employed Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will be exempt from overtime.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient-centered care, lead clinical teams, and develop comprehensive treatment plans. The selected candidate will possess strong leadership skills, effective communication, and analytical abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements treatment plans, including prescribing evidence-based pharmacological agents and scheduling follow-up management.
- Conducts preventive health screenings, maintains accurate records, and stays up-to-date with disease processes and literature.
- Provides education to clients and families regarding medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Leverages leadership skills to instruct physicians, house staff, nursing staff, and students, including precepting and leading community outreach programs.
Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited graduate-level APRN or PA program.
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina and board-certified if required.
- No prior experience required, but demonstrated clinical competency and leadership skills essential.
