Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Camping Sales Associate to join our team at Bass Pro Shops. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting products, and driving sales in our camping and outdoor gear department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive and engaging shopping experience for all customers.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products, features, and technologies.
  • Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions, recommending products based on their needs and preferences.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including setting up displays, arranging product, and maintaining store appearance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, share knowledge, and support each other in meeting customer needs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and move merchandise as needed.
