Work Schedule: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Day Shift (Overtime Opportunities Available)

Position Summary:

  • Assist the Yard Foreman with managing material inventory and preparing for various projects.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of equipment and site facilities.
  • Utilize the computer system for tracking daily hours, product shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Support the Yard Foreman in making sure materials and equipment are ready and organized for upcoming projects.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through shipping, receiving, cycle counts, and transfers.
  • Collaborate with the Yard Foreman and Installation Managers regarding specific material requirements and staging for projects.
  • Pre-load or stage materials and equipment as needed for project execution.
  • Cut materials as instructed by the Yard Foreman or Shop & Yard Manager.
  • Assist teams in loading materials for project deployment.
  • Ensure safe practices during the loading and unloading of material deliveries.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Genuine interest in construction, equipment operation, scheduling, material management, storage, and delivery.
  • Aspirations for gaining hands-on experience in the construction field.
  • Experience operating forklifts and skid steers is preferred.
