Position Overview:
Tesoro Group is in search of a proficient Maintenance Technician to support our esteemed clients in managing their properties effectively. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in residential maintenance, demonstrating expertise in unit turnovers, appliance servicing, and general maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance and manage unit turnovers efficiently.
- Perform general maintenance duties, including minor plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, light carpentry, painting, and landscaping.
- Address open work orders and resolve tenant requests promptly, ideally within 24 hours.
- Prepare and turn over vacated apartment units swiftly, ensuring all necessary repairs, cleaning, and painting are completed to high standards.
- Assist in scheduling and executing preventive maintenance for buildings and equipment.
- Engage in hands-on repairs and maintenance, focusing on both routine upkeep and more complex projects.
- Regularly inspect property to ensure compliance with resident rules and maintain cleanliness and order.
- Work during critical times, such as the end and beginning of each month, to ensure all responsibilities are fulfilled; some overtime may be necessary.
- Diagnose issues, replace or repair components, and conduct tests and adjustments as needed.
- Utilize various hand and power tools, as well as material handling equipment, to perform maintenance tasks.
- Maintain the exterior grounds and interior common areas in a clean and presentable condition.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in residential maintenance.
- Proven experience in unit turnovers.
- Familiarity with appliance maintenance, including troubleshooting, removal, and installation.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for on-call responsibilities.
- Ability to pass a background check.
