Job Title: Sales Representative

WFSU Public Media is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Underwriting Department, you will be responsible for securing new and renewing underwriting and sponsorships from businesses in our community.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a successful sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Development Director to set and achieve short- and long-term goals for WFSU's fundraising efforts.
  • Develop and coordinate marketing programs, activities, and services to promote WFSU's brand and increase visibility in the community.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and customer service, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in public broadcasting or a related field.
  • Knowledge of marketing and sales principles, with a strong understanding of the latest trends and best practices.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
