Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate and develop project scopes and budgets effectively.
  • Ensure timely completion of all project tasks within budget constraints.
  • Monitor and present project updates to stakeholders, clients, and team members.
  • Prepare and delegate change orders and contract amendments as necessary.
  • Identify and communicate potential project risks.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors as required.
  • Utilize innovative problem-solving skills to address project complexities.
  • Ensure all interactions with team members, vendors, and clients meet professional standards.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior associates and the project management team.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience in California or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Experience with complex entitlement processes, CEQA, and post-entitlement procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about all aspects of development and construction, including CEQA and technical studies.
  • Familiarity with development-related software (e.g., Smart Sheet, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam) is preferred.
  • Proficient in reading technical reports, construction drawings, and municipal codes.
  • Experience in construction permitting is a plus.
