Job Summary:
Petro-Com Corporation is seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team in the Northeast Ohio area. As a Construction Technician, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of all petroleum equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform construction tasks and projects, including fuel equipment removal/installation, spill buckets, sump repairs, fuel motor removal/installation, concrete work/installation, excavation, canopy, lighting, etc.
- Operate machinery and vehicles, including trucks, trailers, lift trucks, bob cats, skid steers, backhoes, light and heavy equipment, such as hand tools, hand power tools, pumps, vacuums, and generators, etc.
- Work alongside a team to complete general maintenance and repair support tasks for all petroleum project sites.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing various types of petroleum equipment, including dispensers, tank monitors, fuel management systems, etc.
- Install electronic and mechanical equipment for service stations, commercial fueling facilities, and related work.
- Engage in strenuous physical labor, including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
- Complete work-related paperwork, including time sheets, daily sheets, vehicle inspection, equipment inspections, and promptly report time, travel, and parts used to the office for billing purposes.
- Comply with OSHA safety standards and perform tasks safely.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Driver's License.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn construction techniques.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary.
- BUSTR certified a plus.
