Role Summary:

The Cardiac Sonography Specialist is responsible for capturing two-dimensional images of the heart and carotid arteries from patients. This role includes preparing for examinations by ensuring equipment functionality, managing supply inventory, reviewing physician directives, and entering patient data. This is a part-time position requiring availability on weekends, with Sunday being mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of echocardiograms and carotid imaging studies.
  • Communicate procedures clearly to patients.
  • Alert physicians immediately regarding any abnormalities or concerns.
  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documentation.
  • Additional responsibilities include collecting, organizing, and analyzing patient data, as well as assisting physicians with various tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonography Specialist.
  • Proficient in performing echocardiogram and carotid scans.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Sonography is preferred.
  • Must adhere to the operational hours of the medical practice.
