Your Role:

As a Healthcare Services Administrator (HSA), you will oversee and assess the healthcare delivery program, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, ACA, NCCHC, and accreditation standards. This role involves aligning medical, dental, and mental health program activities with company and facility policies, objectives, and goals. You will also manage and supervise healthcare personnel and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to uphold high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Healthcare Services Administrator is responsible for managing the provision of healthcare services in accordance with State and Local Regulations, ACA, NCCHC, and State accreditation standards.
  • They analyze financial and statistical data, assess program needs and challenges, and propose enhancements to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • The Healthcare Services Administrator recruits, trains, and evaluates staff, maintains positive relationships with stakeholders, and ensures adherence to company and facility policies.
  • They monitor healthcare services, pharmacy usage, referrals to specialists, hospitalizations, and potential health risks to minimize liabilities and guarantee quality care.
  • They also act as a liaison with other professional organizations, participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences, and promote Quality Improvement standards through audits.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

  • Experience in the delivery and administration of correctional medical, dental, and mental health care is recommended.
  • A minimum of three years of administrative, management, and supervisory experience is required.
  • Strong decision-making skills are essential.
  • Experience in operations and planning is necessary.
  • Experience in budget management and contract analysis is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • CPR certification is required.
