Job Overview

We are seeking a PMP Certified Project Management Specialist to enhance our operations.

Role Responsibilities:
As the Project Management Specialist, you will deliver project oversight, business advisory, and Organizational Change Management expertise across various teams.

  • Oversees, tracks, and directs technology initiatives while collaborating with multiple teams.
  • Manages comprehensive plans that encompass all necessary modifications for a specific set of technical products to achieve initiative goals.
  • Collaborates closely with technology experts and business stakeholders to implement solutions addressing intricate business challenges.
  • Provides resource recommendations and employs formal methodologies and tools to guide resources, manage budgets, risks, and modifications.
  • Ensures timely completion in accordance with specifications and budgetary constraints, focusing on clearly defined components of larger projects.
  • Independently leads complex departmental projects and/or engages in cross-departmental initiatives, managing scope, risk, business value, timeline, and budget.
  • Guides team members in determining optimal strategies to meet project objectives. Allocates necessary staff and budget resources to achieve project goals.
  • Comprehends key business drivers relevant to the projects. Adapts to various internal processes and fosters meaningful relationships with business partners, ensuring that critical aspects of cost, time, scope, and client satisfaction are met.
  • Maintains documentation of pivotal decisions, risks, and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for managing project decisions, risks, and issues through the development, maintenance, and revision of reports and tracking tools, utilizing approved methodologies to identify potential issues proactively.
  • Accountable for developing, maintaining, and revising project deliverables. Gathers and presents metrics as required by the project.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field preferred, or significant relevant work experience along with PMP certification.

• At least 5 years of experience in technology project management, including analysis, documentation, and a strong emphasis on communication and budgeting.

• Ability to work with general guidance to scope, plan, and manage cross-department or multi-department projects.

• Proven capability to lead and manage large, complex technology assignments.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for leading organizational change management practices and building rapport within the organization and with external vendors.

• Familiarity with project methodologies throughout project lifecycle phases and SDLC (systems development lifecycle). Working knowledge of project management and agile tools.

• Excellent ability to effectively present information in various formal settings (one-on-one, small and large groups, peers, subordinates, and organizational leadership).
