This is an exciting opportunity to join Raytheon Technologies as an Associate Director, Operations Excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our efforts in optimizing business processes and driving operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation and advancement of the CORE Operating System, working closely with Business Unit Operations and Functional leaders.
- Develop and execute plans to optimize business processes, leveraging Lean tools and Business Process Management methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and develop talent within the operating system.
- Facilitate benchmarking across the company and lead engagements utilizing CORE Methods & Tools.
- Train employees on CORE Methods & Tools and coach Engagement leads in facilitation skills.
- Mentor CORE Experts and Professionals and lead strategic initiatives related to Operations Excellence.
- Lead the advancement of the CORE Success Story and financial validation processes.
- Analyze data for automation opportunities and reporting efficiency.
- Proactively engage with leaders across operations sites to understand top issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years experience in Lean tools and Business Process Management including VSM, process mapping, Goal Alignment, RACI, Shainin RedX, CORE Control rooms, Tiered Gemba, Skills Matrix, and Change Management.
- 5+ years Experienced in leading cross-functional teams and leaders within a complex and sometimes ambiguous matrix organization.
- 6+ years Experience driving tangible process improvements in a Operations Environment.
- Achieved or working towards advanced CORE certification (e.g. Professional or Expert).
