Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler to take charge of our scheduling and coordination efforts in support of a key government agency. This role is integral to a dedicated team that delivers a broad spectrum of operational support services, including facility management, maintenance, logistics, and project oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary manager for scheduling all operational and construction activities.
- Develop, implement, and sustain a comprehensive master schedule for all service and construction tasks.
- Facilitate workflow coordination across multiple service lines.
- Assess and allocate necessary resources, including manpower and materials, to meet contract obligations.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to prioritize tasks and resolve conflicts.
- Evaluate service demands and workforce capacity to enhance scheduling efficiency.
- Address scheduling conflicts proactively, working with staff and clients to minimize disruptions.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure adherence to established parameters.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and communicate these effectively to the team.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to promote mutual business success.
- Identify opportunities for improving service delivery processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Oversee quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and conduct analyses to drive performance improvements.
- Seek client feedback, participate in meetings, and assist with audits and inspections.
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of scheduling experience in comparable programs and contracts.
- At least 3 years of proficiency with Microsoft Project software; familiarity with other project management tools is advantageous.
- 1 year of experience in scheduling construction or facility operations.
- Completion of an advanced Microsoft Project course; certification as a Microsoft Project Professional is a plus.
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- In-depth knowledge of facilities maintenance and construction operations.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in any U.S. state is desirable.
- Certification in Project or Facility Management is a plus.
