Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler to manage and coordinate scheduling activities in support of government operations. This role is essential in delivering a broad spectrum of operational support services, including facility management, maintenance, logistics, and project oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary manager for scheduling operations and construction activities at government facilities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive master schedule for all operational and construction tasks.
- Coordinate workflow across multiple service lines to ensure efficiency.
- Assess and determine the necessary manpower, equipment, and materials to meet contract obligations.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to prioritize tasks and resolve conflicts.
- Analyze service needs and workforce capacity to enhance scheduling effectiveness.
- Address scheduling conflicts and unforeseen delays in collaboration with contract staff and clients.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure compliance.
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and communicate performance standards to the team.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to promote a mutually beneficial partnership.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in service delivery processes to ensure timely and quality outcomes.
- Oversee service delivery procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and conduct analyses to enhance contract performance.
- Proactively seek client feedback and assist in audits and inspections.
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of scheduling experience in similar programs and contracts.
- At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Project; familiarity with other project management software is advantageous.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in scheduling construction or facility operations.
- Completion of an advanced Microsoft Project course; certification as a Microsoft Project Professional is preferred.
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of facilities maintenance and construction operations.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is desirable.
- Industry-recognized certifications in Project or Facility Management are preferred.
