Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler to take charge of scheduling and coordination tasks for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This role is essential in a team dedicated to delivering comprehensive base operations support services, including facility management, maintenance, logistics, and project oversight across multiple NGA locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary manager for scheduling facility operations and construction tasks at NGA facilities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive master schedule for all operational and construction activities.
- Coordinate workflow across various service lines to ensure efficient operations.
- Assess manpower, equipment, and material requirements to meet contract obligations.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to prioritize tasks and resolve conflicts.
- Analyze service needs and workforce capacity to enhance scheduling efficiency.
- Address scheduling conflicts proactively, working with staff and clients to minimize disruptions.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure adherence to established goals.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and communicate performance standards to staff and vendors.
- Foster effective relationships with clients to support mutual business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for improving service delivery processes to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Oversee service delivery to ensure compliance with quality standards and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and conduct analyses to enhance contract performance.
- Solicit client feedback, participate in meetings, and assist with audits and inspections.
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of scheduling experience in similar programs and contracts.
- At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Project; familiarity with other project management software is advantageous.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in scheduling construction or facility operations.
- Completion of an advanced Microsoft Project course; certification as a Microsoft Project Professional is a plus.
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of facilities maintenance and construction operations.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in any U.S. state is desirable.
- Industry-recognized certifications in Project or Facility Management are a plus.
