Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Per Diem

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality radiologic images for our patients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to work on a per diem basis. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform various radiographic imaging procedures, including general radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging.
  • Provide radiation protection by placing and adjusting lead shields and collimating in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • Assist radiologists, speech pathologists, and surgeons in their respective areas with room preparation, exam completion, and room turnover.
  • Maintain knowledge of Radiation Safety, Hospital, and Departmental Policies.
  • Participate in the quality assurance plan for the Diagnostic Imaging program.
  • Enter the appropriate charges into the EMR accurately for all exams.
  • Ensure that all exams are of high quality and available for interpretation in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an approved program in Radiologic Sciences.
  • Current Massachusetts state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current ARRT registry in Radiologic Sciences.
  • New graduates must obtain ARRT certification within 1 year of start of employment.
  • Current BLS.
