Front Desk Manager Job Description

By the Sea Resorts is seeking an experienced Front Desk Manager to oversee the front desk operations and ensure excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Operations: Oversee the smooth check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of front desk agents to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Guest Complaint Resolution: Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner, maintaining a positive reputation for the hotel.
  • Reservations and Room Assignments: Manage reservations and room assignments, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Financial Management: Ensure proper billing and payment procedures, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Lobby Maintenance: Maintain a welcoming and organized lobby area, reflecting the hotel's high standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle diverse guest needs.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in hotel management software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet the needs of the hotel and its guests.
