Job Overview

Knapheide Truck Equipment Company is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Working Lead in our Materials department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing, managing, and assisting employees to ensure job standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist installers as required with questions to reduce delays and optimize production.
  • Train new employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct pre-audit inspections on all vehicles during the installation process to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure best practices are consistently followed throughout the shop to promote continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds
  • Strong mechanical background and experience in the truck equipment industry or similar industry
