We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at ManpowerGroup. As a key member of our Shipping and Receiving department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload bagged raw materials and pallets of raw materials with forklifts.
- Check bag weights of all incoming material with electronic scale.
- Coordinate bag count with Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.
- Prepare sample bag, write material, supplier, and date received on the envelope. Remove sample and place in envelope to be sent to laboratory. Visually inspect material for obvious signs of poor quality. Complete incoming receiving report to purchasing department.
- Ensure the correct amount of bags is placed properly on pallets.
- Load finished products onto trucks or railroad cars, either by placing bagged material on the floor, loading pallets with forklift as specified by order.
- Take pictures of loaded trucks and railcars with camera. Provide Shipping & Receiving Supervisor with pictures for future reference with regards to damage claim.
- Perform regular cycle counting inventory with the direction of the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.
- Servicing forklift daily and performing miscellaneous duties such as marking new pallets with company name, cleaning up assigned areas, and keeping the warehouse in a neat, workable condition.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid forklift operator experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
