About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Development Coordinator to join our dynamic Development team at JCC Greater Boston. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising efforts and ensuring the success of our major fundraising events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute major fundraising events, including database management, seating, logistics, and design of materials.
  • Provide administrative support to the Development team, including data entry, report generation, and correspondence.
  • Assist with donor research, development marketing, and proposal writing.
  • Support Board of Trustee meetings and governance logistics.
  • Collaborate with the CDO and CEO to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and two or more years of experience in fundraising, sales, or customer service-oriented administrative work.
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, particularly Excel, and experience with Canva, Salesforce, and online fundraising event platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple tasks and priorities.
