About the Job
C.N. Wood is looking for a skilled Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for researching, selling, and procuring parts-related business while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer support over the phone and in person.
- Research parts needed by customers through manufacturers' manuals and vendor outreach.
- Verify accurate parts information before placing orders to avoid potential delays.
- Create purchase orders for customer parts sales.
- Process parts orders through manufacturer portals.
- Follow up on customer quotes and ensure satisfaction with received products.
- Demonstrate professional upselling techniques.
- Track outstanding and backordered parts for customers.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Heavy equipment knowledge or parts industry experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with industrial parts and equipment.
- Professional telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to multitask and work in an office and warehouse environment.
Estimated Salary: $25-$35 per hour plus quarterly commission, commensurate with experience.
