Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook orders for daily operations in a timely manner, ensuring that all dishes meet our exacting standards.
- Inventory Management: Control food usage to minimize waste, advise supervisors of low inventory items, and assist with receiving and inventory as required.
- Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area, meeting or exceeding state and local Health Board inspection and company requirements.
- Teamwork and Communication: Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments, and may occasionally interact directly with guests.
- Culinary Experience: At least one year of experience cooking on a fast-paced kitchen line and food preparation experience.
- Culinary Training: Culinary certified training preferred.
- Communication and Math Skills: Strong communication and math skills, including basic math, percentages, quantities, and variances.
- Physical Demands: Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 75 pounds, stand up and move about the kitchen in a safe and efficient manner, handle food, objects, products, and utensils, and bend, stoop, and kneel.
