Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Construction Superintendent who embodies our values and possesses the necessary skills to contribute to our ongoing success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Community Construction Management, a passion for the building process, and the ability to excel in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage schedules for residential construction and custom home projects, ensuring logical sequencing and adherence to timelines.
  • Prepare and present budget estimates, progress updates, and cost tracking documentation.
  • Maintain clear communication with administrative personnel, subcontractors, clients, and ownership regarding project details and progress.
  • Organize and oversee all activities related to the construction of new homes, including the scheduling of subcontractors and the coordination of material deliveries.
  • Conduct inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and construction plans.
  • Evaluate job specifications to determine the most effective construction methods.
  • Supervise subcontractors responsible for specific project components.
  • Engage with team members, clients, subcontractors, and design professionals to address and resolve work-related issues, complaints, or construction challenges.
  • Manage the final punch list and conduct walkthroughs with clients to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Construction Management.
  • Previous experience in project management or as a superintendent is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Builder Trend Software is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Positive attitude and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in computer applications relevant to the role.
