Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled superintendent who embodies our values and possesses the necessary expertise in Community Construction Management. If you have a fervor for construction and excel in dynamic environments, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage schedules for residential construction and custom home projects, ensuring logical sequencing and timely completion.
  • Prepare and present budget estimates, progress updates, and cost tracking documentation.
  • Engage with administrative personnel, subcontractors, clients, and ownership regarding project specifics and status updates.
  • Organize and oversee activities related to the construction of new homes, including the scheduling of subcontractors and material deliveries.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Evaluate construction methods by analyzing job specifications to determine the most effective approaches.
  • Supervise subcontractors responsible for specific project components.
  • Facilitate communication among personnel, owners, subcontractors, and design professionals to address work procedures, concerns, or construction challenges.
  • Manage the final punch list and coordinate walkthroughs with clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Construction Management.
  • Prior experience in project management or as a superintendent is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Builder Trend Software is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency.
  • Professional demeanor with a positive outlook.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills in a professional context.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
