Student Support Counselor

Qualifications for the Student Support Counselor Role:
- Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences (e.g., social work, counseling, or psychology)
- Flexibility to adapt to school policies and schedules
- Capability to work both remotely and in-person
- Active license or in the process of obtaining certification
Experience in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
What to Expect as a Student Support Counselor:
In this role, you will align your work hours with school schedules during weekdays, allowing you to enjoy summers and holidays off with the students. Your responsibilities will include conducting individual and group counseling sessions to address a range of emotional and behavioral challenges faced by students. You will collaborate with school personnel and families to create effective intervention strategies and provide crisis support when necessary. Maintaining confidentiality, adhering to school protocols, and keeping accurate records will be crucial, as will being prepared for remote work as needed.
