Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in assisting the management team by providing essential operational support through collaboration with external sales personnel, management members, and various departments within the organization.

The Sales Operations Support Specialist plays a crucial role in empowering the Sales Team to achieve and surpass the organization's revenue objectives.

Strong time management skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and in partnership with Sales, Finance, Accounting, Chemical Sales Representatives, Operations, and Customers.

Additionally, this position offers direct administrative assistance to the Commercial Manager.


Key Responsibilities:
The following duties are essential to the role but are not limited to:
  • Evaluate potential new clients
  • Disseminate information or enrollment packets to prospective clients
  • Authenticate third-party/direct invoices
  • Maintain pricing structures within the system
  • Prepare and submit bids
  • Offer support to Executives and Sales teams as required
  • Generate reports on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Process rebates efficiently
  • Produce marketing materials and compile marketing folders
  • Source documentation from manufacturers to meet customer inquiries

Qualifications:

  • Ability to analyze reports and data
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exemplary integrity and ethical standards
  • Outstanding organizational capabilities
  • Proficiency in business mathematics (basic algebra, computing rates, unit conversions, ratios, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective time management and adaptability to shifting priorities
  • Capability to manage challenging customer interactions with diplomacy and tact
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year in a similar role
  • Experience in the Chemical or Distribution sectors is advantageous
  • Familiarity with MS Publisher, Adobe Products (Acrobat Standard, Photoshop, etc.), Crystal Reports, or other BI query software is a plus.
