Essential Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyze sample components, blueprints, and engineering specifications to establish methods and sequences for product fabrication, ensuring precise dimensions and tolerances.
  • Adjust machine controls or input commands to manage computerized machine operations effectively.
  • Accountable for the complete quality assurance of manufactured parts.
  • Utilize mathematical knowledge and measuring instruments, such as manual and digital micrometers and calipers, to calculate dimensions and tolerances accurately.
  • Oversee the feed and speed settings of machines throughout the machining process.
  • Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Conduct and document maintenance activities on machinery.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, engaging with both technical and non-technical personnel across various departments, customers, and suppliers.
  • Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience operating CNC Vertical and Horizontal Lathes in a production job shop, manufacturing parts ranging from 16" to 78" in diameter.
  • Must consent to and successfully pass drug screening, physical examination, and background verification.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Work schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Occasional weekend work may be required
  • Second shift availability
  • Salary range: $17 - $30 based on experience
