Job Summary:

The Takeout Restaurant Cashier Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests by providing timely and accurate takeout, catering, and delivery orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer phone calls and greet guests with a smile, assisting them in ordering the perfect meal for their event or occasion.
  • Represent P.F. Chang's as a brand ambassador in the community and during takeout and catering events.
  • Provide excellent hospitality and strong two-way communication to ensure satisfactory guest feedback.
  • Understand and explain different menu items for takeout, catering, and delivery to guide guests in making informed choices.
  • Work with the restaurant management team to plan and execute takeout and catering orders.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including coffee machines, iced tea machines, and cash registers.
  • Package and label all items, ensuring all necessary components are included for each order.
  • Review each order with the guest and/or delivery team member.
  • Process payment for orders, handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Perform side work and cleaning duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • No prior experience is required - we will train you.
  • Ability to multitask and organize multiple types of orders simultaneously.
  • Ability to follow all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Understanding of the English language.
  • Ability to place orders through the point of sale (POS) system.
  • Knowledge of proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
  • Must possess a current Food Handlers Card, or be able to obtain one, where applicable.
