Job Summary:

The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. This role requires a warm and welcoming personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with a smile and a warm welcome, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Manage the seating chart, balancing guest preferences and server sections to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Provide accurate wait times and ensure guests are comfortable during their wait, offering refreshments or amenities as needed.
  • Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage the guest list with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and entryway, to create a positive first impression.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure a cohesive and efficient service.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed, including helping with special events and promotions.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and welcoming personality.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Prior experience as a host/hostess or in a customer-facing role is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
