Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Process Optimization: Develop and implement global standards for procurement processes, driving automation through technology and establishing critical controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Leadership: Work closely with corporate and business stakeholders to establish global standards in procurement, driving process excellence and service delivery to ensure process performance meets and exceeds service levels.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase procurement functional effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Technology Implementation: Lead the implementation of procurement tools and technology, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Global Process Management: Develop and implement global processes and controls, ensuring consistency and compliance across all sites.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with finance, business unit operations, and IT to ensure end-to-end processes are linked and efficient.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seek opportunities to innovate and source best practices, establishing metrics to monitor process health and drive continuous improvements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 7-10 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Skills: Advanced computer skills, full professional proficiency in English, and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple and compelling ways.
  • Experience: Proven experience in procurement or supply chain related roles, with a strong understanding of key functional activities across indirect and direct material procurement.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience launching procure to pay platforms and operating as a subject matter expert in spend analytics, vendor catalogues, and guided buying tools and processes.
