Supply Chain Planning Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our team at Comcast. As a key member of our supply chain operations team, you will be responsible for helping lead the creation and optimization of supply and production plans for equipment and related materials across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather data and inputs to the plan, track inventory levels, and monitor key performance indicators to ensure quality and production requirements are being met.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment on sales and operations planning (S&OP) inputs/outputs.
  • Assist in the development of strategic business plans for the supply chain planning function.
  • Work with system data to form trends and patterns, and provide suggestions to management around process and control improvements.
  • Support master data management (MDM) policies to ensure a common understanding, consistency, accuracy, and control in the ongoing maintenance and application use of information.
  • Coordinate with the Business Intelligence and Analytics technical team in the development of reports, dashboards, interfaces, and extensions for current planning applications.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain operations team to support an effective vendor management model of 3rd party logistics providers.
  • Leverage established Supply Chain systems, processes, and tools to focus on effective materials management, planning, forecasting, network optimization, and transportation management.
  • Manage small to medium performance improvement projects to increase production quality and capacity connected to both forward and reverse logistics.
  • Effectively communicate project timelines, deliverables, and risks associated with the stand-up and deployment of the operation to the supply chain leadership team.
  • Liaise internally with key stakeholders to help execute the NPI (New Product Introduction) process, and initiate necessary change requests to ingest new products into planning and reporting.
  • Mentor more junior analysts to help facilitate the completion of accurate work.

Requirements

  • Advanced working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or proven ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
