Executive Culinary Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Executive Culinary Specialist to join our team at The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort in Puerto Rico.
About the JobThis is a full-time opportunity that requires a skilled lead cook to prepare special meals, regulate cooking temperatures, and maintain food quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with staff, informing guests of menu specials, and ensuring adherence to quality expectations.
Responsibilities- Prepare special meals or substitute items according to recipes and quality standards
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
- Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
- Maintain food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food
- Communicate assistance needed during busy periods and inform Chef of excess food items
- Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock menu items
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of related work experience and a technical, trade, or vocational school degree. They should also be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
