Job Overview

This role is crucial for the safe and efficient production of liquid mud mixtures, ensuring timely loading into trucks and vessels for customer delivery. The position also involves warehouse operations, as our facility operates around the clock, requiring 12-hour shifts that alternate between day and night.

Estimated Annual Compensation: $74,000-77,500 (starting hourly rate of $22.50, plus overtime, quarterly, and year-end bonuses).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulates AES Drilling Fluids products to meet specified properties and weights.
  • Conducts mud checks to verify product accuracy prior to dispatch.
  • Monitors and manages storage tanks to prevent settling of drilling fluids.
  • Assists in checking equipment and preparing tanks at the liquid mud facility as needed.
  • Delivers small loads and equipment to customer locations when required.
  • Supports warehouse operations as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, with a preference for candidates with 2 years of oilfield experience.
  • Forklift operator certification or the ability to obtain one is essential.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Basic office skills, including computer and telephone proficiency, are advantageous.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical fitness assessment, and drug screening.

Working Environment:

  • Work is conducted in a warehouse and open-air plant environment, with regular exposure to drilling fluids and chemicals.
  • Willingness to work additional hours during the week and/or weekends is required.
