Job Description

Wood plc is seeking a skilled Laborer I to join our team. As a Laborer I, you will assist our construction crew and supervisor as needed, performing operational checks on assigned wells and equipment. Your responsibilities will include inspecting oil wells, tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and attached piping components for leaks or unusual conditions, and taking corrective actions. You will also be responsible for conducting production tests, including minor repairs on surface production and injection equipment. Additionally, you will help maintain compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety regulations, and prepare and submit daily reports and records of gas/liquid volume, well pressure, and volume of chemicals used.

Responsibilities
  • Assist construction crew and supervisor as needed.
  • Perform operational checks on assigned wells and equipment.
  • Inspect oil wells, tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and attached piping components for leaks or unusual conditions.
  • Conduct production tests, including minor repairs on surface production and injection equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports and records of gas/liquid volume, well pressure, and volume of chemicals used.
Qualifications
  • 0-3 years of general oilfield and operator experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to utilize laptop PC and applicable software; familiarity with eVIN production software packages a plus.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
