Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Thermal Systems Engineer to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Lunar Permanence business unit, you will contribute to the definition and development of spacecraft thermal control systems. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to the team through the vehicle life cycle from definition, interfaces, conceptual design, detailed design, component development, assembly, verification, and operation.
- Develop & manage Thermal specifications and requirements (at subsystem and component-levels).
- Develop & manage Thermal interfaces, including Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and models (in collaboration with adjacent IPTs).
- Decompose requirements from system and subsystem-levels into lower-level requirements.
- Mentor early-career Thermal Systems Engineers on the Lunar Program.
- Standardize Thermal Systems Engineering approaches.
- Own the verification and validation of Thermal requirements, in collaboration with the Thermal Analysts and Designers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Thermal Systems Engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Excellent knowledge of thermal analysis and modeling tools, such as ANSYS or COMSOL.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
