Position Overview:
The Canine Title Operations Specialist will oversee the management of all title applications associated with the Family Dog & Title Recognition Programs.

Key Responsibilities:
This role demands a quick learner with exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and a proactive approach. Familiarity with AKC processes is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service abilities, including effective communication via phone and email, adaptability, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.

This position requires comfort in both independent and collaborative work settings, engaging with diverse personalities and skill sets. Proficient data entry and customer service skills are essential for success in this role. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence.

Primary Duties:
- Serve as the primary contact for dog owners submitting title applications.
- Evaluate requests and confirm that incoming title applications fulfill the necessary criteria.
- Process payments through financial systems.
- Utilize the Content Management System (CMS) and Reg Console to award titles and update relevant information.
- Monitor and report weekly productivity, reflecting the volume and nature of requests received.
- Assist clients with inquiries about application statuses and other program-related questions.
- Manage incoming correspondence across various departmental mailboxes.
- Collaborate with other teams to test sampled work within AKC systems.
- Archive applications and related information using AKC's electronic filing system as required.

Compliance and Problem-Solving:
- Adhere to all auditing protocols concerning financial transactions and maintain a procedural manual documenting all functions.
- Address customer issues related to incomplete or ambiguous requests.
- Adapt to workflow changes and demonstrate flexibility in daily operations and AKC systems.
- Provide guidance and support to web customers regarding navigation and downloads.

Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and a fluctuating workload.
- Demonstrated flexibility and composure under time constraints.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
- Familiarity with AKC titling programs is a plus.
