Compensation Range:
$16.28 – $26.00

Wages are determined based on company-wide scales.

Actual compensation may differ based on factors such as:
restaurant brand, experience, education, location, applicable minimum wage, unit volume(s), hours worked & potential overtime pay.

Position Overview:


The Associate Manager aims to surpass customer expectations, cultivate a spirit of teamwork, enhance staff members' skills and competencies, and achieve the financial goals set for their designated location.

Their long-term goal is to advance their own capabilities towards becoming a General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service

Act as a role model for customer-centric behaviors in line with company standards

Develop a team of customer-oriented employees through coaching and performance metrics

Address challenging customer situations with professionalism

Resolve any customer complaints or concerns

Respond promptly to customer inquiries

Ensure all products meet quality standards

Sales

Lead and manage store sales initiatives, which may include promotional events, retail sales, fundraising, and route sales

Collaborate with the General Manager to meet business objectives and profitability as outlined in the store operating plan and financial targets

Production

Understand and implement procedures to optimize efficiencies and manage variances in daily product output and overall store performance

Implement quality control procedures, including standards

Coordinate production schedules to fulfill customer demands while minimizing labor hours

Inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve any production or equipment issues

Safety and Sanitation

Promote a culture of safety and ensure store safety measures are followed

Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and sanitation

Equipment

Oversee the proper maintenance of store facilities and equipment

Personnel

Assist the General Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and resolving disputes

Supervise all shift personnel

Foster a team of customer-focused employees and encourage collaboration

Demonstrate leadership in employee development, including that of Key Staff

Assist in communicating store policies, standards, and practices to employees

Accounting

Support the General Manager in managing income and expense budgets, including accounts receivable and profit and loss

Assist in completing required corporate reporting documentation, both financial and operational

Manage company resources responsibly, including inventory control

Handle financial responsibilities

Safeguard company assets

Leadership

Communicate and exemplify company standards and policies

Efficiently implement directives from store, corporate, and divisional management

Develop and maintain store organization to promote effective operations

Interface with corporate office personnel

Essential Skills and Experience:
High school diploma required

Experience in sales, management, production, and customer service

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities

Friendly demeanor, sociable, accommodating nature, and enthusiasm

Self-motivated, creative, and adaptable

Basic knowledge of computers, telephones, and fax machines

Most stores offer full-time positions (40+ hours/week)

Completion of management training programs

Must meet driving standards (three-year clean driving record)

Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred Skills and Experience:
Post-secondary education strongly preferred
