As an A&D Industry Specialist with strong Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) expertise, you will play a key role in shaping our strategy, driving growth, and enhancing our Simcenter Fluids & Thermal Portfolio.
You will provide technical guidance, define the fluids and thermal strategy, and collaborate closely with product management to support various regions, particularly the Americas.
As part of the Fluids & Thermal Business Development team, you will work alongside the Simcenter Industry Team to craft customer-centric solutions that drive business growth.
You'll engage with sales, marketing, product management, and senior leadership to develop a strategic business plan that aligns with our overall Fluids & Thermal domain goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage the sales and marketing teams to drive business for Simcenter in the Fluids & Thermal Domain within the Aerospace & Defense Industry.
- Define and implement a business plan for Fluids & Thermal in the Aerospace and Defense industry, aligning with industry managers and product management.
- Develop and align collateral with sales and marketing teams, ensuring it supports various sales engagements and integrates into the overall strategy.
- Train the sales team through regular sessions and engage with customers at industry events.
- Support regions by providing insights to the different regions.
- Work with strategic customers and higher management to position Siemens as a digitalization partner.
- Identify and quantify market opportunities for Product and Industry management.
- Apply Simcenter Fluids & Thermal Solution tools to address Aerospace and Defense challenges.
- Collaborate with Application Specialists to create new solutions for customer issues.
- Work with Siemens DISW teams and Academic Partners to identify and validate long-term needs.
Requirements:
We are looking for a passionate engineer with demonstrated experience in Sales or Business Development within the Aerospace & Defense industry.
Your strong expertise in CFD solutions is crucial, as it will enable you to develop and drive long-term business plans effectively.
Strategic business planning skills, combined with your CFD knowledge, will be key to our success.
Good communication skills are essential, as you will need to collaborate, drive, and influence all your internal customers with a focus on excellence.
Self-motivation, self-discipline, and the ability to set personal goals and work consistently towards them in a dynamic environment will go far toward contributing to your success.
Besides your CFD understanding, awareness of other simulation tools and how they are applied in the Aerospace & Defense Industry, i.e., 1D Systems, Mechanical analysis, MBSE, V&V, and Design Space Exploration, would be highly beneficial.
