Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Employment Matcher to join our team at L.A. Family Housing Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for matching clients with employment opportunities, community resources, and training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct resume critiques and assessments to identify client job readiness and barriers to employment
  • Share weekly job leads, employment workshops, and training opportunities with clients
  • Provide job search guidance, interview preparation, and job application support to clients
  • Communicate with employment coordinators to target specialized industries based on client skills and interests
  • Monitor and document client progress, maintaining accurate records for reporting and statistical purposes
Requirements
  • At least one year of work history and relevant transferable skills
  • Knowledge of government assistance programs, employment services, and community-based programs
  • Strong organizational skills, including effective time management and ability to work independently
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Internet research, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred
