Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Director to join our team. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new sales opportunities, providing product solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and exceed sales targets
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, and proposal submission
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales and revenue forecasts and management of quota funnels
  • Develop and manage relationships with acquired and/or existing customers to attain additional business and retain existing revenue
  • Develop action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend with the company
  • Leverage knowledge of new technologies and selling points to enhance expertise in the company's entire product suite
  • Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts
  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements
Requirements
  • 5+ years of industry-specific sales experience
  • Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize with good time management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
  • Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction
  • Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
