Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Network Installation Specialists to join our team as Cable Technicians. This role involves installing and maintaining data cables, wireless access points, and other network infrastructure.

About the Role

This is a 100% traveling position with opportunities to work on high-profile projects across the country. As a Cable Technician, you will spend 2-3 days in-store working overnight shifts. We are looking for individuals with experience in CAT5 pulls, termination, and troubleshooting, as well as fiber cable installation and maintenance.

  • Must have their own basic hand tools
  • Technicians will be provided with a van or rental vehicle for travel
  • Duration of the project is approximately 6 months, starting May and ending January
  • Working hours will be between 60-80 per week, with time-and-a-half pay after 40 hours
Key Responsibilities

As a Network Installation Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Installing and maintaining data cables, wireless access points, and other network infrastructure
  • Performing CAT5 pulls, terminations, and troubleshooting
  • Installing and maintaining fiber cables, including pulling, terminating, and connecting
  • Hanging antennas and running cables from switches to AP locations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of [estimated salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year] based on experience and location
  • At least one previous traveling project
  • Experience with CAT5 pulls, termination, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with fiber cable installation and maintenance
