Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $70,000 to $90,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Technicians will also receive time and a half pay after 40 hours of work per week.

Job Responsibilities

As a Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining wireless networks in retail stores across the country. This includes:

  • Installing Data cables, Cat 5, and Cat 6
  • Terminations and punch-downs
  • Installing WAP (Wireless Access Points)
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least one previous traveling project experience
  • Experience with Fiber cable pulling, terminating, and putting on connectors
  • Ability to run cables from switch to AP location and hang APs
  • Must have own basic hand tools
Travel and Work Schedule

This is a 100% traveling position, and technicians will be given a van or rental vehicle. The duration of the project is approximately 6 months, working 10 hour days, 60-80 hours per week.
