About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Technician to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of all levels on our fleet of vehicles.

You will help our customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road, while also working independently to diagnose problems and complete maintenance tasks. Your expertise and leadership skills will be recognized and valued by our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair heavy trucks and trailers with precision and accuracy
  • Perform preventative maintenance services with little or no supervision
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot major components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials
  • Keep your work area clean and safe, adhering to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies
  • Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair is a plus.

You should have specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components, OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications. Additionally, you will need excellent customer service skills and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well as part of a team.

Benefits and Compensation

This is a competitive opportunity with a salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also receive shift premium pay, career stability, and opportunities for growth and advancement.
