Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Hyatt House Anchorage. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for maintaining and setting up food production and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, seasoning and all other food items prepared in the different kitchen stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and set up food production and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, seasoning and all other food items prepared in the different kitchen stations.
  • Ensure preparation, plating and presentation standards are maintained and safety standards and regulations are followed to provide the highest quality food standards and consistency.
  • Maintain the sanitation and maintenance of a safe work and food prep environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED; prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • State Food Handlers required or ability to obtain one.
