Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Norton Healthcare. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our respiratory care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality patient care as ordered by physicians, including the initiation of respiratory protocols and evaluation of protocol steps.
  • Assess, develop, and evaluate care plans for patients, ensuring the appropriateness of respiratory care modalities.
  • Participate in monitoring quality of care and identify areas for improvement.
  • Organize workflow to maintain smooth transitions between shifts and assist in day-to-day operations of respiratory care services.
  • Maintain current knowledge via hospital and department communication tools and identify problems, recommending ideas and solutions.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree
  • CRT or RRT certification (RRT must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
  • One year of experience in respiratory care in a critical care setting (desired)
