KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver beverage service to guests in designated gaming areas.
- Ensure timely and courteous beverage refreshment service.
- Accurately relay drink orders to the bartender and process checks appropriately.
- Serve drinks to guests, present checks, process payments, and provide change as needed, while maintaining a clean work area.
- Account for all complimentary charges and cash transactions where applicable.
- Provide an exceptional experience for every guest through friendly interactions.
- Stay informed about changing promotional beverages, events, and services.
- Exemplify professionalism and encourage a positive atmosphere among colleagues.
- Adhere to attendance policies and comply with all regulatory, departmental, and company guidelines.
- High school diploma or GED required; must be at least 21 years old.
- Previous experience in beverage service preferred.
- Experience in customer-facing roles is advantageous.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and knowledge of guest charge procedures.
- Physical capability to carry and serve trays weighing up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mathematical skills for handling payments.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
- Professional appearance and ability to work well with team members.
- Must be able to navigate all areas of the casino.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to reach above and below shoulder height.
- Capable of moving quickly throughout assigned areas during shifts.
- Dexterity to handle necessary items (glasses, pens, pads, garnishments, money, etc.).
- Ability to stoop, bend, and twist while serving drinks.
- Must be able to tolerate environments with secondary smoke.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and respond to visual and auditory cues.
