About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Clinician I or II to join our team at Planned Parenthood. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in our family planning and abortion services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive reproductive health care to patients, including family planning and abortion services.
  • Conduct physical examinations and provide cancer screening testing, diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections, and other specialized procedures as needed.
  • Order diagnostic studies and provide appropriate treatment and follow-up care as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the health center team and other community agencies to provide comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients on reproductive health topics, including birth control methods.
  • Participate in abortion services, including referrals, information, education, counseling, and scheduling.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field and certification as an NP or CNM.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain.
  • Full prescriptive authority in CO.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Prior experience in reproductive health care preferred.
