About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to join our team at Roers Companies LLC in Sun Prairie, WI.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company in the multifamily real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure residents' needs are met while driving business success.
  • Maintain strong resident relations and ensure satisfaction with the community.
  • Oversee leasing and occupancy rates.
  • Direct property operations and staff in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Supervise maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders and repairs.
  • Manage rent collections and bank deposits.
  • Pursue delinquent rents and evictions in a timely and aggressive manner.
  • Supervise resident relations and enforce community rules and regulations.
  • Work with the Regional Director to develop and achieve annual budget objectives.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of management, leasing, and/or sales experience.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Yardi and RENTCafé experience preferred.
  • Local market experience preferred.
  • Ability to work every other weekend and every Saturday during peak season.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Work & Excel, knowledge of internet, email, and social media as it pertains to marketing the property.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of people.
  • Experience with marketing and leasing initiatives for new development preferred.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have good time management skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to changing staffing and property needs.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, loves to be challenged, determined to win, puts clients and teammates first, collaborative, inquisitive, self-motivated, and operates on trust.
  • High integrity, trusted, direct, truthful, embodies confidence, and admits mistakes.
  • Ability to perform the physical functions of the position, including walking the property, completing physical inspections, delivering resident communications, showing apartments, and driving a vehicle to visit area businesses for outreach marketing.
  • Maintain a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance.
