About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Wildwood at Main in Sun Prairie, WI. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our apartment community, including occupied apartment units, common areas, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on multifamily apartment buildings, including electrical, plumbing, and appliance work.
  • Participate in cleaning and painting during unit turns.
  • Respond to emergency calls after hours and on weekends as part of our on-call rotation.
  • Communicate effectively with Property Managers, Maintenance Managers, and Residents to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of property maintenance experience, preferably in apartment maintenance.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Local market experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and high integrity.
  • Ability to perform physical functions of the position, including lifting up to 75 pounds and climbing multiple flights of stairs.
